We're excited to inform you that starting May 1st, 2025, we will be enhancing our remote connection services by standardizing to NAT 2.0. This change will allow us to provide an even better, more secure experience moving forward.

To ensure uninterrupted access and continued improvements, we encourage you to upgrade your recorders to their latest firmware to support NAT 2.0, which will continue to support remote connections, including the P2P QR code functionality.

Recorders that have already been updated to NAT 2.0 (firmware version 1.4.0 and higher) will not be affected by this change. The latest firmware for the recorders can be found at https://www.specotech.com/recorder-software-updates-2/.
